RULES FOR ABSENCE
1. All students are expected to attend school on the re-opening day after the vacation

All students are expected to attend school on the re-opening day after the vacation. Absence for more than a week renders the pupil’s name being struck off the roll and will not generally be readmitted. If re-admitted they should pay the admission again.

2. In case of absence for less than a week, the student on returning to school must have a ‘leave record’

In case of absence for less than a week, the student on returning to school must have the reason entered and signed by the parents or guardian on the ‘leave record’, in the calendar, without which the student will not be admitted to the class.

3. A student remaining absent due to sickness should produce a doctor’s certificate

A student remaining absent due to sickness should produce a doctor’s certificate permitting him/her to resume classes.

4. No leave of absence is granted on previous written application

No leave of absence is granted on previous written application from the parents or guardian except for serious reason.
